The following itinerary is designed for birdwatchers seeking to expand their personal bird list. It's an intense birding tour that involves some long trips by vehicle and staying in various accommodations at the different destinations to visit. Like most of our tours, it can be tailored to the passengers' requirements.
DAY 1: Arrival in Buenos Aires. Afternoon birdwatching at the Costanera Sur Ecological Reserve. Overnight stay in Buenos Aires.

DAY 2: Transfer to Buenos Aires Airport (BUE) for our flight to Jujuy province. Travel northbound towards Yavi. Afternoon birdwatching in the surroundings of Yavi. Target bird: Citron-headed Yellow-finch. Overnight stay in La Quiaca.

DAY 3: Full day of birdwatching at Abra de Lizoite and along the road to Santa Victoria. Overnight stay in La Quiaca.

DÍA 4: Full day exploring Laguna de los Pozuelos and the Humahuaca Valley. Overnight stay in Jujuy.

DÍA 5: Morning birding at Potrero de Yala Provincial Park. In the afternoon, we head to the Ecoportal de Piedra Private Nature Reserve to continue our birdwatching journey and spend the night at the lodge.

DÍA 6: Full day at the Ecoportal de Piedra Reserve. Overnight at the lodge.

DAY 8: Morning at Ecoportal de Piedra. At noon, we head to Las Lajitas (Salta Province), where we'll be birdwatching in the afternoon and spend the night afterward.

DAY 12: Morning in Joaquín V. González and its surroundings. At noon, we head to Coronel Moldes. In the afternoon, we visit Cabra Corral in search of the Black-legged Seriema. Overnight stay in Coronel Moldes.

DAY 12: Full day of birdwatching in the highlands of Cuesta del Obispo. Overnight in Coronel Moldes.

DAY 13: Morning in Cabra Corral. Transfer through Amaicha del Valle and Abra del Infiernillo to Tafí del Valle (Tucumán Province). Overnight stay in Tafí del Valle.

DÍA 15: Morning exploring the Salinas Grandes of Córdoba. At noon, transfer to Capilla del Monte, where we'll spend the afternoon birdwatching in wooded areas and around the city. Overnight stay in Capilla del Monte.
