Embark on a unique birdwatching adventure through the majestic Peninsula Valdés, where coastal, marine, and shrub steppe landscapes intertwine to create winged journeys. Along the shores, we'll observe species such as the Magellanic Cormorant, South American Tern, Snowy Sheathbill, Dolphin Gull, White-headed Steamer Duck, Magellanic Oystercatcher, among many others, as well as migratory birds from the northern hemisphere between spring and autumn.

The shrub steppe unveils a different yet equally fascinating scenery, where elusive and mimetic species predominate to evade detection by the raptors patrolling the area, such as the Aplomado Falcon, Black-chested Buzzard-Eagle, Variable Hawk, Peregrine Falcon, etc. Among the most common inhabitants of the shrub steppe are the Elegant-crested Tinamou, Lesser Rhea, Patagonian Yellow Finch, Patagonian Mockingbird, Tawny-throated Dotterel, among many others.

The freshwater wetlands represent a glimpse of the Lower Chubut River Valley, an ecotone area between the arid lands of Patagonia and a rural area dominated by grasslands, crops, shallow waters, and groves. There, we find species from diverse families such as the Black-faced Ibis, Burrowing Parakeet, White Monjita, Chilean Flamingo, Red-crested Cardinal, among many more, including swans, ducks, swallows, thrushes, owls, grebes, and coots.
